How to handle multiple quests in Scavland

A practical sorting method for the Journal, without inventing a control sequence the current public evidence does not confirm.

Needs verification

Short answer

Scavland's official store description says the Journal tracks contracts, main quests, and side quests. It does not provide a verified step-by-step answer for pinning or showing several objectives on the map at once, so this page separates the known categories from the open UI question.

Use three buckets, not one giant route

The categories below come from the official Early Access feature list. They are a useful planning frame; they are not a promise that the interface exposes every bucket in the same way.

01 / STORYMain questsKeep these as the progression lane. Record the objective text before taking a detour.Official system

03 / WORKContractsTreat jobs as a separate return plan; the public page does not state their exact priority rules.Official system

Checklist before leaving town

  1. Write the quest names down.Capture main, side, and contract titles from the Journal rather than relying on a single map icon.
  2. Choose one return condition.Decide whether the trip ends at a delivery, a low-health threshold, or a full inventory.
  3. Pack by objective.Carry only the items you can identify as relevant; the loot page covers the separate respawn question.
  4. Do not call a missing marker a route bug yet.Save the version and screen where it disappears. This makes a future fix testable instead of anecdotal.

Multiple-quest FAQ

Can Scavland track multiple quests at once?

This site does not claim yes or no yet. The categories are official, but simultaneous tracking needs a current controlled test.

Which quest should I do first?

Use the Journal to identify the main quest, then group nearby side quests or contracts only when their destinations are clear. Do not turn a general priority habit into a game rule.

Why keep a checklist if the game has a Journal?

The checklist covers the decisions around a trip—what to carry, when to return, and what evidence to record—rather than duplicating the Journal.
